The Douglass Family

Jennifer and I met at the age of 5. Or maybe 6. She is, quite literally, one of my oldest friends. We rode the bus home together in elementary school. Her mother was my girl scout leader. Most of my earliest memories involve her. And though we slipped out of the habit of daily contact when we attended different high schools and colleges, our periodic reunions are warm and happily familiar, as if little time has passed.

I met the other 3 members of the Douglass family more recently for our photo shoot at the Japanese Gardens. There is very obviously so much love in this family, it's contagious. I couldn't be happier for my sweet friend, that she has found such love in her adult life. Oh, and they're all adorable.

Daddy and Jameson:

Sweet Juliette:

What could bring about SUCH EXCITEMENT!?!?!

The Christmas Tree Lollipop. Thanks, Grandma!

In the interest of total honesty: Juliette was a little tired of me after a while. :( But even kinda grumpy, she's gorgeous.

But we recovered, and she even gave me a marketing plug with the duck! :)

I wore out little Jameson too...

But he perked right up when we got him a snack back home!

Thanks, Douglass Family!!
